The Behavior of Dredged Soil-Shredded Rubber Embankment Stabilized with Natural Minerals as a Road Foundation Layer

Recently, geotechnical studies have been conducted more progressively to utilize dredged soil. The inclusion of shredded rubber (SR) and natural minerals (NM) stabilize soil (DS) has become an exciting issue in the field. This technique can be a promising environmental innovation for future. study aimed investigate unconfined compressive strength (UCS), California bearing ratio (CBR), embankment performance under strip footing test. UCS sample was prepared using with proportion 2% 3% 3%, 6%, 9%, 12% from dry weight Whereas CBR samples (both un-soaked soaked conditions) were also 6% 9% as well. test small-scale laboratory tests evaluate stabilized embankments. applied load gradually increased until collapsed. results showed that adding could increase value by 3–4 times 2–3 times.
